Only if it fits your trip
- Is a Blue Cave boat tour from Split worth it?: Go for the island day, not the cave alone: the six logged reports agree the cave is beautiful, but they put the time inside at about 10 to 15 minutes, inside an 11 hour day from Split, with waits of 35 minutes to over an hour on busy days. If the cave is the only goal, sleep on Vis and take a short boat from Komiza.
- Is the Split Card worth it?: SplitCard is a free museum-and-discount card from the Split Tourist Board, picked up at the tourist information centers, and it costs nothing because it is gated behind your stay: five nights or more between April and October, two or more from November to March, valid 72 hours. For eligible travelers who will actually visit the three free museums and one or two discounted ones, it quietly saves 10 to 20 EUR. For everyone else it is unusable or irrelevant: most summer visitors stay under the five-night bar, and the card covers no transport, no ferries and none of the marquee sights.
