Only if it fits your trip
- Is a Valpolicella wine tour from Verona worth it?: Go if wine is the point: official cellar tastings at Valpolicella estates run EUR 22 to 60, travelers praise small family-run cellars, and both the ATV extraurban bus and small-group van tours solve the transport. Skip if you do not drink, because the whole day is built around tastings.
- Is Juliet's balcony worth it?: Depends. The courtyard is atmospheric and the literary backstory is better than the myth, but since April 2026 entry is a 5 EUR, timed, online-booked route through the Teatro Nuovo, and the 12 EUR house upgrade is quick and lightly furnished. Worth it for romantics and Shakespeare people; skippable for everyone else.
- Is the Verona Card worth it?: Depends on pace. Three or more paid sights in a day, or a full two-day museum run, clears the new EUR 33 price with room to spare; a walking itinerary built on piazzas, bridges and viewpoints does not. The no-transport version sold on the official web app saves EUR 4 and fits the compact center better.
