Only if it fits your trip
- Is a Cliffs of Moher day trip from Dublin worth it?: Depends: travelers who reach the cliffs on a clear day rate them highly, but from Dublin a coach tour is a 12-hour day with about two hours at the edge. Worth it with a spare day and a decent forecast; a poor trade from a short Dublin stay or in fog.
- Is St Patrick's Cathedral worth it?: Depends. Visitors who joined a free guided tour or gave it an hour or more came away pleased; those who rushed, or compared it with Christ Church, found it museum-like.
- Is the Go City Dublin pass worth it?: Worth it only if you stack the expensive headline sights: the 2-day All-Inclusive costs EUR 109, and a packed Guinness, Jameson, Big Bus, EPIC and cathedral itinerary totals EUR 107 to 147 at official prices. Book of Kells and Kilmainham Gaol are not on the pass, and Dublin Castle is closed through 2026.
- Is the Jameson Distillery tour worth it?: Depends what you want. Most traveler reports enjoy the guided tour and tasting as a polished intro to Jameson, but it is a visitor experience, not a working distillery, and one report found it rushed.
