Only if it fits your trip
- Is the Berlin TV Tower worth it?: Depends: recent travelers praise the 360 degree view from Germany's tallest structure, but the ticket starts at 20 EUR for the view alone, queues stack up at the base, and several reports say free decks cover much of the same skyline.
- Is the Berlin WelcomeCard worth it?: Depends: the 72-hour Berlin WelcomeCard costs EUR 39.50 in zone AB, about EUR 6 more than three 24-hour transit tickets, so two discounted attractions clear it if you ride transit daily. Walkers and free-sight itineraries should buy plain BVG day tickets instead, and anyone flying in or out of BER needs the ABC version.
- Is the DDR Museum worth it?: Depends: reports praise the hands-on look at everyday East German life (drawers to open, a furnished flat, a Trabant), but 3 of 7 describe crowding and 3 of 7 call the content light, so go early or after 6 pm and expect an overview, not depth.
- Is the Museum Island ticket or Museum Pass Berlin worth it?: Depends on your pace: the EUR 24 Museumsinsel ticket clears itself at a second island museum in one day and is the only pass that includes Pergamonmuseum Das Panorama, while the EUR 32 Museum Pass wins when your museums spread across three days or beyond the island. Seeing just the Neues Museum? Buy the EUR 14 single.
