What to skip in Barcelona

Only if it fits your trip
- Are the Sagrada Familia towers worth it?: It depends: for 10 EUR more than the basilica ticket, the tower adds a close-up look at Gaudí's stonework and city views from the spires, but the official site says the visit is not adapted for reduced mobility, children under 6 cannot go up, the only way down is a narrow staircase, and the one written report found the architecture, not the panorama, the reason to go.
- Is La Boqueria market worth it?: Depends: La Boqueria is worth the visit if you arrive early and walk past the entrance stalls, but it is skippable if the only time you have is a crowded midday hour.
- Is the Barcelona Card worth it?: Depends: the card only pays off if the specific museums and transport trips you will actually use add up to more than its official price, and Sagrada Familia and Park Guell, Barcelona's two most visited paid sights, are not included at any level.
- Is the Camp Nou stadium tour worth it?: It depends: the standard ticket buys the museum, an audio guide and a construction viewpoint, not the pitch, so it suits Barca history fans more than sightseers chasing the classic stadium tour.
