- Is a Mechelen day trip from Antwerp worth it?: Worth it as a half-day add-on: the 8 EUR cathedral-tower climb and a quiet, walkable old town are the draw, but reports differ on whether Mechelen carries more than that.
- Is the Rubens House in Antwerp worth it?: It depends on what you expect. Rubens' historic residence is closed for restoration until 2030 at the earliest, so the 12 EUR ticket covers the underground Rubens Experience and the rebuilt baroque garden.
